GARSHIELD BOARD are typically semi rigid protection boards for all types of vertical torch applied modified bitumen membranes against mechanical stress and impact. It provides permanent protection to most waterproofing and damp proofing systems. Its high puncture resistance protects the waterproofing membrane from any impact by sharp aggregates during the back-fill process and other later settlements. Its own waterproofing characteristics will improve the overall waterproofing ability of the system.
